Membership based ceramics studio

about the name. . .
Earthenware is a type of clay and, no you don’t have to use earthenware in the studio. You’re welcome to use stoneware and porcelain in addition to earthenware. But the thing about earthenware is that it is the product of a journey—primary clay is carried downstream, collecting artifacts from its travels. It picks up a little of this and a little of that, and in the end, it has evolved into a product of the environment and its interactions. Personified, earthenware is the epitome of inclusion and community.
